As the Director of People & Culture at AxisCare Home Care Software, Micah leads the strategic and operational aspects of HR functions for a SaaS company that serves the home care industry. He has more than 20 years of combined experience in HR, CX, L&D, and professional writing/editing, and has worked internationally in cross-cultural settings in the Middle East and Africa. 

Micah has worked in HR since 2017, first as HR Supervisor for Citizens State Bank, and then as Director of People and Culture for AxisCare. He earned his SHRM-CP certification in 2023.

His core competencies include talent acquisition, retention, and development, employee engagement and satisfaction, organizational culture and values, customer feedback and satisfaction, and performance management and improvement. He is passionate about empowering and enabling his team members and customers to achieve their goals and potential, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

He is also fluent in Arabic and French, and proficient in graphic design. He is a published fiction author and enjoys acting and singing in community theater, in addition to spending time with his amazing family.
